because alot of weird things happen at my house that i just can't explain.....i have even witnesses who have experienced some weird things at my house

First of all. try to ask the nighbors (If they know any thing abut your house)
(If the weird things = ghost ) try to put a camera in the room that the most "weird things" Happen in it
and try to put record tape with you and stay in the house ( not alone) with some one and try To ask some questions like:( WHO are you , are you a man , are you going to hurt us, did you see the light , go to the light ) and try to give the:"GHOST"; some time
5 to 10 min. before ask the other Question.
after that Play the Tape and you might here some ^^answers^^
and check the video tape in the morning (put it before you will go to sleep check it after you wakeup)

The tax office would be the place to start. That way you will get the date of building, who built it and probably the first owner. You should also be able to get the list of owners. After that the local library will have newspaper records you can search of the original owners.
Last but not least is to ask elderly people that live in the area. Good luck to you.

Check with the previous owners for any contacts that lived in the area, during the history of your home. I had an old guy next door that had a lot of knowlege about my home. Just pay a visit to the older folks in the hood, they love to tell their stories. Including stories about your house.

best thing to do is check with your neighbours and see if they know anything.
we use to have some weird stuff happen at our house - like somone would swear they saw a nun in the kitchen, or could hear singing etc in our house.
we found out from a neighbour that our house used to be a small convent, and that one nun died there, and that she used to be the head of the choir. it was quite spooky to find this out, but now my parents live happily with the old nun.
