Why don't you back off and not be mad at him? Still smile and be friendly, but his answers sound like excuses to me. There could be a hundred reasons for that too. So don't feel rejected and hurt. Guys have it hard or maybe harder (no pun intended) than the girls, where feeling rejected comes in. Good Luck!!
