What phrase in the pledge of allegience do many people not say? It is under God. Why do people not say it? Should this be in our pledge or not. Everyone has freedom of religion so they can say it if they believe. Not all people believe in God and isn't the government supposed to be seperate from the chuch.
Use some of these ideas. You could argue a little about each side but don't put in a lot of your opinions unless you are instructed to.

Statistics say that the majority of the US claim to be christians, yet we allow the act of removing the phrase "under god" from our pledge to become an option. Some people say they are offended that we would say so in our pledge but if people were to complain about the "in god we trust" phrase on all of american money, would the goverment really go through so much to remove it from all curency?
