I have an oreo bw cat...male...less than a year old. He is very loyal to me and pretends to defend me by hissing and growling at anyone else who comes near, especially my female relatives. We've all agreed that he doesn't like girls.
I think he and I are the perfect pair.

I have an AC male black and tan German Shepperd, a male Shel tie and a male Caucasian Ovrcharka (Russian Military Dog). They are all really laid back but are extremely protective and will not allow strangers near our property.Completely gentle around the kids but ready to attack the idiots that have attempted to break in my house. Even delivery people are afraid of my house. For anyone interested in the Caucasian Ovrcharka they are not for everyone be cautious because they can be deadly. They have been known to jump from 2ND story closed windows to protect their owners. Only trained dog owners should have them as they are huge well over 200lbs and if not properly trained are ferocious. When in the right setting though they are awesome, beautiful, smart, loyal, and most important they will never let a weirdo freak around one of your kids. So my animals are laid back but cautious of strangers and in love with the family. So yes we are reflective of each other. We also have a fat cat that just lays around with the dogs and a bunch of fish.

I have a cat, "Tiddles" Asti Slocombe. And 2 Feral cats outside, my mousers for the farm, Smaug and Carmen. Also, 2 small dogs, Spongebob and Patrick (not original I know but my neices named them.) I treat them like I would want to be treated, with love and respect.

I have a couple of cats. They are siblings from the same litter. I got them from a co-worker 7 years ago.
They are both really shy and only cozy up to me. They hide when people come over. They've never been abused, so I don't know why they do that.
Oddly, the male cat always comes out when my gay neighbor comes over. The female comes out when straight friends come over. I'm not sure what that means or says about me.
I'm not making that up.

I have a dog she is a Puggle, which is half Beagle and half Pug she is hyper and can be a handful at times, she always wants to be on the go, but that is the way I am at times too. Then I have an aquarium which I love, because when I am stressed out it helps me relax.

I have a terrier/rottweiler-mix and he's the friendliest dog I've ever had or met (I've had quite a few since childhood, most of them have either passed on or were given to friends when they were pups or young adults), but is still quite mellow and chill. He's curious about new people, and has a keen sense about finding people not to trust, but tends to like everyone. He is a little lazy, but once he's in the mood, he's good to go for a good while.
I think that sums me up well too! :)

I have a chow mix. I can carry him around in one hand just as easily as I could when he was a baby. He's hyper and always running around or trying to investigate things.
Not sure what that says about me, mostly because I'm not really like that.

I have a huge Maine Coon Cat who looks like a brown tabby lion, complete with mane, and haughty attitude. He rules the house. I have a fat american short hair. And a red-headed (orange tabby who is a total mama's girl, and who has a temperment like a redhead. Pet me now! Now, get the h*ll away from me!) She's probably the most like me. ;) I have two mutts.. one is as aloof as a cat, the other follows me around and looks stupid. But, ignorance is truly bliss, he is the happiest dog I have ever had.

I have a black cat. She's a shelter rescue and is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but only around people she knows- she hides from strangers. She's also a little brat whenever she thinks she can get away with it.
I'm not all that sure what that says about me...

My sheltie is a mirror reflection of my personality. He's shy and very sensitive just like I am. He also gets jealous when I pay attention to other dogs and I also am jealous. But, at the same time he sticks up for himself when he feels threatened.
