Funny you should mention the last 2 pairings tonight. Based on the clips they showed from last week on each of the 4 remaining, they chose just the opposite of what you expected. I don't remember the girls' names, but the one they sent home (tiny, gorgeous brunette who reminded me of Courtney Cox) had an AWESOME voice, while the other girl (who reminded me of Eva Mendez) was not strong or impressive in her clips whatsoever from last week.
And, it was exactly the same scenario for Tommy and Sundance. My husband and I were shocked and grossly disappointed.
But tonight's selections only further support my "conspiracy theories", one of which they have certain "types"
they look for. For example, they already has enough white girls, but needed an Hispanic female and especially one who does (don't you agree?) look like Eva Mendez. By choosing her, they just made the US Spanish population happy viewers!!
By choosing Sundance: Heavyset people around the US will have someone to identify with.
and so and so on .....

Nope on both, I think Tom should've won and the girl who lost was the better singer but afterwards you really found out that she was a b***h. I don't think there's ever been a straight up b***h on Idol. They know if they put someone through with a bad attitude that it's a waste of time and they might as well put someone through who has a chance at getting america's vote. That's why personality does matter. Tom kind of acted up afterwards too. the double flickoff is not cool.

nicely I definetly recognize i choose David practice dinner in the finest 2 i do not care who else finally ends up there with him, it may well be effective if it were Jason. If David Archuleta wins this competition i am going to take it as an illustration that the destiny of yank Idol fairly is determined through the 12 years old females with cellular phones and could not in any respect watch the tutor lower back.

I guess I was suprised by both based on their performances during hollywood week. Sundance was one of my early favorites but I don't think he shined this week. And I definitly thing the girl that got cut had a better week than the girl who stayed on.

I was very irritated about the choice between the girls. I really thought that was totally messed up!
Of the guys, that was a very hard choice. Both were really good in my opinion.

absolutely not. The ones that won should have not been chosen.
But then again I wasnt there in person to hear there real voice. I swear my TV sound must be distorted.
