Everytime I come on here there is another question about Black people. Whether it's negative or positive it's annoying. Do people still buy into stereotypes and hate Black people for whatever idiotic reason.

no one said whites have to celebrate black history month..
It's not for you anyways....the real problem is that anything that,
has to with non whites will catch heat...
If your going to debate think of something else,
It's getting stale....all i hear is people complaining we don't,
have a month when you do...what about people who don't
do the Rromanis have a month and others too...
Their arguements would be valid...if they didn't act like racist
Pricks......they always resort to same excuse

.
Ps. I'm ready for the thumbs down...
Because contrary to your beliefs I don't care if you agree or not.

I have a feeling that, like some have mentioned, some people are curious, but some are just plain ignorant. And it's like the serious answers to questions get ignored, but the dumb, racist comments are praised by all of the other racist fools too. I don't waste my time asking questions, but I do find those questions that are asked about Blacks to be amusing sometimes. You get to see all sorts of answers and some people amaze you with how much they can think logically and answer the question as opposed to giving out an easy answer and trying to agitate the crap out of people. Anyway, thanks for asking.

People arent that focused. Maybe your just making a anthill into a mountain. I think racisism of any sort is stupid. Evolution shows that all the races started out black anyway, insulting a black person is insulting one's own heritage. But because blacks have been persuctued in the past many assume hardships are still due to skin color. I've seen it happen on judge shows where people think they're being treated differently because of their race even though there was no evidence at all to make such a claim. Dont assume hate until you know it for a fact.

White people try to get tan so that they have nice brown skin, if anything your being idolized.

I think it is because of the whole Black History Month BS... As a white person I get sick of hearing about Black History this & Black History that, we get it shoved in our faces everyday & I for one don't care about Black History, I'm not black & I'm not American so why should I care... So give me a break, if you can't see it, your just as bad as everyone eles & you can only see what you want to see, so open your eyes a little better & see everything that is around you and not only the things that you want to see...

There are oodles of Americans on here. They have a big focus on those of African decent for many historic and current reasons. Mostly unresolved guilt at exploitation, cultural genocide, current poverty and suppression, structures than maintian these institutions, and a deep fear of reprisal. Without national dialog and healing, I have no doubt it will only get worse.

Canadians don't have "Race Relations" up here, since we don't usually notice skin or hair colour or heritage much, except Aboriginal North American. For much the same reasons as above. But we are working on our issues in a nationally supported movement of change. So the fear and guilt is being replaced by cultural support, gov't acknoledgement, and recovery, including artifacts, stories, language, events and land. Everyone's less upset now...

Go to the Immigration forum & watch them pick on Mexicans or the Religion forum & watch them pick on Christians & Muslims. You'll probably be tempted to join right in. I don't hate anybody. God made us all. It's time we started acting like it.
