If you have two partitions you won't have a problem installing Vista, but you will need a boot manager since vista doesn't use the boot.ini like xp does. When you say: "I just created a partition to install 2 OS" I'm not sure if you mean one partition or two. If you have only one, you need to resize it to make space for a new one (Vista takes about 15GB off the start, so keep that in mind). Best to use Partition Magic, or any 3rd party software, just search "Partition manager". After you resize it, make a 2nd one NTFS. Install your windows by booting from the DVD. After windows is installed, go online and search for "Vista Boot manager" the program is free and it does the job with one click (this is so you have a boot screen with both XP and Vista as choices, instead of having it go directly to Vista).
Good luck with your install. I use the same configuration, because Vista is cool and all, but there's a lot of programs that are not fully compatible.
