i go to the doctors febuary 21st and i will be 4 months march 12th is that far along to tell what im going to have or not???

They dont usually check for that until 20 wks (5 months)

Its to early .. You can usually tell what sex your baby is at around 18-20 weeks .. Your sent for a scan within this time frame anyway, just make sure you ask the person doing it if they can see the sex of the baby.
Remember though you still might not be able to tell as it depends on the position the baby is laying.

no,no, by twelve weeks the babies sex organs are fully developed and they can tell what you are having with a 3D scan. Most doctor wait till 20 weeks because its easier to tell that far into the pregnancy, the baby is bigger and more developed but that doesnt mean you have to wait that long. You have to find a doctor willing to take the time and patience, it is possible to tell in the 3rd month.

At 12 weeks, sex organs are still developing and you can't tell whether your baby is a boy or a girl. By 16 weeks, the genitalia have developed, but it is still too difficult to tell via ultrasound. As the other answerer said, after 20 weeks, an ultrasound can USUALLY determine the sex of the baby (but there have been mistakes!)

depends on your doctor. mine won't do an ultrasound to find out what the sex is until the baby is fully developed at 20 weeks. however i have a friend that's also pregnant and her doctor told her at 16 weeks. so just ask your doctor.

My friend was told 20 weeks and she got the ultrasound, the only one since she moved in with her in-laws while her husband is in korea and then moved back home. So that was the ultrasound she got. So we were glad that it was correct since she already had a name for the baby and a lot of girl's baby stuff ;)

Around 20 weeks is when they can tell from an ultrasound most accurately.

i was 18 or 19 weeks when i found out i was having a boy! but it also depends in the postion the baby is in..my friends baby was hiding her private part! soo they didnt know it was a boy or girl til she gave birth

when i was pregnant last i asked my OB when i would be able to find out the sex of my baby and she told me they usually do it anywhere between 18 and 22 weeks. Goodluck!

I had to have monthly u/s due to hyper tension.
Had one @ 19 weeks & the baby's legs were crossed.
Then @ 25 weeks, they told my I was preg with a boy!!!!!
