I play Battlefield 2 on my computer and i have a good enough computer to play it on high/medium but i still have lagg problems, i have cable internet,
i have:
NVIDIA nForce 550 AMD AM2 Athlon X2 processor, dual core,
1GB RAM,
NVIDIA 7300GT 512MB,
RoadRunner Cable internet,
what should i do to decrease my lagg?

I don't follow that graphics card choice? BF2 LOVES 2 GB RAM though. Turn down the eye candy and see what happens.

nicely ya it happens at some cases yet on no account 2 - 4 minutes from playing, it happens not often and if it happens two times in an afternoon it could be like six hours between. I even have extreme lag and the relationship is terrible via fact i'm making use of my telephone for the internet yet i not often get disconnected.

Also check you firewire cable. Sometimes they get damaged and have a negative effect on you connection speed. You can also try a speed measuring web site to compare your online connection speed.

your color might be set to high 32bit is too much, use 16bit high color, firewall could be blocking game port used check to see if you open that port on firewall, go here to tewak your connection http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks
