kinda want to but not sure if it would look good on me.
I am 16, 6'2", have long light brown hair, and fairly skinny. Am into running, basketball, and playing guitar/writing music. Would probably just get one hoop or stud through my left ear. Would this look good or not?

It could look really good but you know, I'd wait until you REALLY want to, not 'kinda.' Just one of those things it is better to be sure of.

Why don't you get your ear pierced somewhere other than the lobe? Personally, I think it's much more attractive when a guy has a tragus piercing (the little ridge at the front of the ear) or an industrial etc. as opposed to the lobe, which will probably look 'gay'.
Also, I love the way you wrote "I am a man". You're 16.

I think you would look great with an ear ring based on your descriptions. You probably will look good with either a hoop or a stud but the size should be the issue when you're getting it pierced.

Sure go ahead. When I was 16 (in 1971) long hair and beads were the in thing. I had them. Wish I had the hair back!

sure go for it, but most place you have to be 18 or have a parent with you. If you dont like it you can always take it out

Didnt this whole thing die out years ago? I dont know. I am 29 years old now. It was all the thing when I was in high school. I know dudes my age look like fruitcakes with their ears pierced like we did back in high school.

Maybe times have changed but when I was a kid, guys who wore earrings were considered to be fagolas. I still consider them to be so...

Dont' just pierce one, I think it looks silly. But then again, its your body and I suppose you'll do whatever you want.
Get them done at 10g with titanium CBRs.
