Is Homosexuality a choice or are homosexuals born that way?

Don't throw a hissy fit, I'm trying to educate myself about gay people, so I can be more tolerant, but as for me, I'm happy engaged to a beautiful woman, and by no means, way, shape or form gay, but by reading your profile I see that you are in a 20 year relationship with a dude, good for you...I guess. But what I don't need is you giving me 2 snaps in a circle with your smart @ss comments on an issue that I'm trying to get info on, I'm not the one.

Whether you like someone of the same sex or not is hard wired through you before you're born.
However, acting on it, either way, is nothing but choice.

I think it could be both a person could try it and like it and others are born with the tendencies I have seen children under 5 yrs old who have demonstrated those tendencies.

It is not a choice. Do str8 people choose to be str8? Of course not. No one can help who they are attracted to. You can hide your true feelings but why should we have to just to appease others. Be comfortable with who you are. Peace.

im gay and iv been attracted to guys since i was 8 and never liked girls and never will and its not a choice!!!

No sexuality is a choice. No one is born sexual. Orientation is hard wired in the brain in the womb. It manifests itself when puberty kicks in, the sad thing is that society automatically assumes that all kids are heterosexual. It makes it tough all around, and that is just not right.
