I had it a year ago, she found it, got upset, I deleted it. I really want one back. With all the privacy features and the fact that I'm smart enough not to do something stupid on it, how can I pursuade her to let me get one again? I'm almost out of highschool, I should be able to handle it.

i do get straight a's and i have my own computer, i don't use it though. i use the family one.

There are just to many perverts out there ready to shag anything with a heart beat so, as you can imagine, your parents are scared out of their pj's about you. You don't realize it cause you are a kid but man, they care about you very deeply and just the THOUGHT of some filthy perverted guy trying to get his hands on you scares your mommy. So, while you ask her to understand your position, try to understand hers. Give her time.

Tell her you want to use it to learn html, and css codes. Those are the codes you use to edit your profile. I started out just wanting to change my myspace profile, and I learned a little bit in the process, then a little more....Now, I'm amazed at how much Ive learned, and I can actually say it all started with Myspace. I kinda doubt she'll believe it, but it's worth a try!!
