personally i feel that there is no solid proof that Mind is there, only one thought i think of constantly:

how can tissue, organs, and electrical impulses create deep emotions? they are of atoms and cells, not of spirit and therefore cannot produce emotion or thought.

Wherever you go you will find it. It can expand to the furthest reaches of the universe, or become as small as a photon. It can dance with a puppy and hold hands with the terminally ill. Mind is there wherever there is consciousness. Proof? Did you like the sunset? Prove it. Did you love your dog? What is reading this answer?

You can prove that your mind is there by what Descartes proved. He was trying to prove he existed and proved that by what someone mentioned before. "I think therefore I am." The following is taken from Wikipedia:

Initially, Descartes arrives at only a single principle: thought exists. Thought cannot be separated from me, therefore, I exist (Meditations on First Philosophy). Most famously, this is known as cogito ergo sum, ("I think, therefore I am").

Therefore, Descartes concludes that he can be certain that he exists. But in what form? He perceives his body through the use of the senses; however, these have previously been proven unreliable. So Descartes concludes that the only indubitable knowledge is that he is a thinking thing. Thinking is his essence as it is the only thing about him that cannot be doubted. Descartes defines "thought" (cogitatio) as "what happens in me such that I am immediately conscious of it, insofar as I am conscious of it". Thinking is thus every activity of a person of which he is immediately conscious.

My own opinion is that a beings minds are made up whilst they are created. What we do in existence is combat to disclaim this actuality. all of us have a code we are residing with the help of and archives precisely what your code is can convey you nearer to understanding and making judgements. Spend time thinking approximately what you may do in random situations until eventually now you get to them. Its confusing to comprehend what situations we are able to come into so your suited in basic terms passing it slow every day thinking on the subject of the conceivable futures.

It's the sum total of the capacities of the human brain. The thoughts and feelings expressed as energy, both personal and of collective humanity. We call this the universal mind. Consciousness is proof of mind.

If there were no mind than there would be no explanation for bio-feedback. For example, people who will themselves to meditate change their own brain states. I find it hard to believe that this phenomena is not caused by the mind.

You can't prove that mind exists.
Even if you touch ur brain and say that I have my own thoughts, for all you know you might be a tiny plant in a jar who feels things that aren't there.

personally i think things have got too abstract and scientists havent a clue either.

The brain is like hedge(with flowers).
We've got our 5 senses and a heart(the middle 3 letters of heart spell ear).
Our heart and 5 senses are connected to the hedge, the flowers give off a smell(imagination?).
We've got fingers to manovour.

This whole mind thing is a bit too kant for me..

Weird or what??
