There's a difference between copyright and trademark- I just wrote about this in my blog too- I find it disheartening, but know that youtube isn't the only one- DailyMotion is another one where they are being deleted and they have been there for over 4 months- it's nuts.

Now that Youtube is owned by Google, these exposures to lawsuits must be removed.

Everything from viacom (MTV, CBS, etc) has been pulled in order to avoid a lawsuit because Viacom are greedy, short-sighted, corporate bastards.
