I like to listen to music while I clean my house. It makes the time go by so much faster and you are getting a chore done with ease. By the time you are finished you have a clean home and you *actually* enjoyed doing so.

Same here, I like to listen to music while I clean my house. I usually have a Mp3 cd. with a couple of hours of music while cleaning. I usually get my cleaning done way before the cd. is finished.... Gives me more time to enjoy more music.

nope no music--- I have incredible views as I live on the side of a hill and start with the kitchen wash and put dishes away ----probably on a good day put some stew on to cook while I'm cleaning, then the floor gets done when I'm reasonably happy I move into the bathroom and organise that next is the living room only quickly as it's probably time to go to work. Put the stew in fridge for when I get home. However need to change my modus apparatus(do things differently) as not enough is getting done perhaps I'll try music a fast tempo to speed me up---wear a badge for motivation---do a little a day but maybe different areas as well as the usual----perhaps spend less time on computer......reward myself for doing better....

I also like to listen to music and also I like to like to guess how long I can do a job in and then set a kitchen timer and see if I can do it in that time or less. Its kind of like beat the clock. Makes things a little more interesting. Although its probably pretty weird.
