I am thinking about getting this cd burner off of eBay. Can someone tell me if this cd burner would work on Windows XP?

These are all the drivers available for that unit :

Download them & see if XP is listed.... the manufacturer site won't specify what versions of Wiindows the device has been tested on (that tells me a lot right there).

Personally, I would not buy that product .... so what if XP recognizes it ? It still needs to be compatable with a good burning program & not much is known about these drives.

Like someone else already said .... they are everywhere at good prices & by reliable brands. Why are you tempting fate by buying an obscure brand from eBay .... not even from a retailer where you can easily return it ..

Anyways... it's your money & your bottle of Aspirin... not mine.

do not ignore to unplug the device in the previous you fuddle with it. it is an elementary fix, basically make certain the cd burner you have become is wisely perfect including your device (hardware and application smart). Why no longer get a DVDR? It burns cds and dvds. For some more beneficial money you'll get the finest of both worlds.

Don't worry about the operating system, just worry about the cd burner, and you can get them really cheap without going to e-bay.
