Although Prometheus gave mankind fire, it would be extremely shallow to assume someone who admires Prometheus must necessarily like fire.
Prometheus is a powerful figure not because he gave mankind fire (it could have been anything), but because he did so knowing how much he would suffer. He is characterized by generosity and sacrifice. For that reason, I'd most closely associate him with earth (which supports us, though we take from it constantly), not fire.
