I have to write an 8-10 research paper on something argumentative. Our professor said the only thing we can't write about is abortion and war because he gets too many of those to read and he's tired of it. It has to be something with a lot of information (enough to write 8-10 pages). Any ideas?

Spend some time with the latest copies of several news magazines, watch or go to 60 Minutes website....to get some ideas. Here's a list:

Why not write a paper on illegal immigration? It's a hot topic, in the news & very very divisive.

I think you'd do a good job!
