If your romex out of the JB only goes to the switch and then from the switch to the light, then you screw to two black wires (one from each romex) to the switch and tie the two white wires together. In the JB you tie white to white, black to black.
If you have a romex from the JB to the switch and then another romex from the JB to the light, then tie the white wire from the switch to the black wire from your feed (hot) and then the black wire from the switch to the black wire from the light. Then tie the two remaining white wires together.

your electrical ? is vague.

There are way to may circut runs by electricians to even speculate.

Switch leg uses both white & black, the common is at the light, if you see a white & black hooked to a switch, the white is not neutral, a switch only breaks the hot wire. True electrican will use black tape over the white to mark it as a hot wire.

This is just one example of hundreds

its simple, i could explain it, but pictures/wiring diagrams are always better. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/poolshark_pimp2004/photo/294928804233368121/0 YOUR HOT (BLACK) WIRE CONNECTS TO THE BRASS SCREWS, AND THE NEUTRAL (WHITE) WIRE CONNECTS TO THE SILVER SCREWS. remember to follow the electrical code. while installing and making connections. anymore questions just email me from my profile.

Check this out:
It's from "www.homedepot.com"
It shows you how to do it with pictures. It's very easy.
http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?CNTTYPE=PROD_META&IRC=2&searchText=how+to&CNTKEY=Know+How&BV_SessionID=@@@@1604454216.1171513007@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccedaddkehhiglgcgelceffdfgidgio.0
The above is crazy long for some reason. If it doesn't work, then do the following.
-go to, "www.homedepot.com"
-under "search". type in "how to" (without quotes).
-click on, "electrical"
-click on, "replacing a wall switch"
I realize that you want to install a new switch and not replace one, but I think the diagrams will give you a good idea.
