I've never won a trophy or a ribbon, but have won a meat tray, and once I won $1,500 at bingo.
We were on a holiday recently and decided to play bingo at the sports club (which is frequented by oldies!) for something different. (I hadn't played for 10 years) I won $20 and my husband won a box of cerial. It was very funny!

Right before Christmas, my health insurance company held a drawing and I won a $25 gift card to BESTBUY. I just used it to but two Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley CD's.
Second grade...teacher held a tie breaker to some contest. I won a trip to McDonald's. I only remember the drawing. Not the reason for it.
While they were saying Publishers Clearing House was a joke, I won a BIG OLE DOLLAR! I made copies of my check and cashed the real one. I got one of those big dollar coins so I'd never spend it. I carried it in my wallet, but changed wallets and can't remember where that wallet is now.
I won a trip to summer camp for two weeks for selling 4th most girl scout cookies in my area in 1975. I actually remember that!
When Ray Charles did commercials for diet pepsi...I won a 24 pack. They sent it IN THE MAIL.

A state keyboarding trophy in high school (nerd geek you name it I was it)
For work, several incentive prizes over the years, including but not limited to:
Portable DVD player
$50 Best Buy card (bought the Office season 2--I love Rainn Wilson)
CD boombox
A very manly rolling backpack (funny since all the employees at the time were girls--what were they thinking???)
A very tacky t-shirt.

when i was about 7, i won a cookbook! Loved it to death! Since then ive won stuff like a massage heat rock thing, a discman, hair care kits and countless movie tickets

i won a brand new lime green volkswagen beetle in a radio station contest. it was pretty awesome.
i also won three dollars in the powerball. i chose to get the lump sum rather than spreading it out over 20 years
