I'd say being picked by the person, because voters more often than not, just vote for the first answer without reading them all. The asker usually reads EVERY answer, so I know I have been picked fairly.

Its always nice if its the one that asked the question because then I know they took the time to read all answers & pick the one they really like

I don't know i guess by voters because i know it wasn't just one person who thought i was the best but a lot of people! I like being picked by the person though, too, because then they can leave a comment.
