I hate it when people ask u how good u r at something when u suck at it. What r u supposed to say?

With music i only started a year ago, and its really embarrising when people ask wat level i am, so wat should i say when they ask? should i lie?

no dont lie, why does it matter what level youre at? everybody has to start somewhere. nobody just wakes up one day and is a master pianist or what have you. be proud of what you have accomplished so far, and keep practicing. im a musician too and have been for over ten years, and i wont lie, im not that good. i know what my abilities are and im not embarrassed. just keep on keepin' on and youll achieve the level you want. goodluck!

Just say "I'm a beginner, and I'll admit it, I'm not that good."
If you lie and tell them you are good, you'll just end up looking like an idiot when you show them what level you're REALLY on.

Just tell them that you are still learning and ask if they have any tips that might help you.

dont lie..
if you have to put your money where you mouth is..you'll be the bigger fool in the long run..

also if you're honest w/ people up front, they will be more likely to work w/ u on getting better..
