crashed, reloaded everything, drive G may have been F,windows explorer, says, drive not formatted ,format now? i backed up with onecare, and it dont reconize it! windows xp pro media, 2002, gateway. i will dump onecare after i get my files back, or not.

Go to My Computer, then the screen will come up with all the drives on it. Either double click the drive or rightclick explore or open to view the files in it...If it doesn't read it, then reboot with the drive plugged in and the system should then recognize it and open it.
If that doesn't work then reboot with the drive unplugged and then plug it in after it's done booting up.
It will show as an external drive like Mass Storage regardless of the Drive letter.
