for a 24 year old to have little interest in sex and to lose their erections when attempting to be intimate with his wife? What would cause such things? Is it because he's leaving his sexual prime or should he see a doctor? Could it be that he's not sexually attracted to his wife anymore?

They've only been married for a little over a year.

I'd guess stress is the most likely, followed by health problems.

An unstressed, healthy 24 year old should be capable of having sex with just about anything, so the wife should not worry about being unattractive. If she's having an impact, it would be stress related, not a matter of 'not being sexy'. In fact, if she's trying hard to be sexy, he might feel more stressed.

I'd probably suggest downplaying the stress (maybe just perform oral on each other), that way everyone gets off without him having to perform. See what happens. If lowering the stress isn't helping, go to a doctor. Sure, you could just have him pop a viagra and it would probably be fine, but there may be an underlying problem that should be fixed.

Its nothing personal!

He could not be attracted to his wife. He could be tired under stress. I doubt he'd be losing his sexual drive at 24. Try some new things to turn him on.

It could be that there is some sort of stress going on that is causing the problem. Or it could be something medically wrong. Perhaps a visit to the doctor to rule out a medical problem is in order.
