For most women the first inkling they have that they might be pregnant is a missed period.

Usually women who exhibit symptoms of early pregnancy such as nausea, fatigue, tender breasts, mood swings etc before this time are usually either hoping to be pregnant or fearful of becoming pregnant and so either look for these things, or confuse these things with normal hormonal responses such as PMS and soforth.

Usually, the secondary symptoms of pregnancy usually kick in at about 6 weeks - or 4 weeks after conception. This is about 2-3 weeks after the embryo has implanted and established itself well enough to raise the hormone levels to a point where PMS style symptoms like those above are sustained for week on end, rather than just a few days, as normally happens before a period.

I work in an IVF clinic and so every women I work with is hoping and expecting to be pregnant, and almost always exhibits the signs of early pregnancy, even though most of them, sadly, won't actually be pregnant.

If your period is late then do a home pregnancy test, then you can be sure either way. If your period isn't lade yet then hang on - you may be pregnant but then again at this point you may not - the symptoms could just as easily be a normal hormonal response to your overall menstrual cycle.

It normally starts about 1 or 2 wks after conception but this can be different with all women. I was exactly at 2 wks when i started having the sickness.

The best thing to do is take a test, cause even though you had 2 other kids every pregnancy is not the same

With my 2nd, I had tingly nips a few days before my period was due, so possibly.

It really varies when people start getting symptoms. I just had the tingly nips and started getting tired a lot right before my period was due, then the nausea/vomiting didn't start until my 6th week.

I think the name "Anthony" is really a bizarre name for a female.

So, if you have all the working parts, i.e., uterus and vagina, then my advice is to take a pregnancy test.
