I pay my support regularly, it comes straight out of my check and my ex wont let me see my kids. The child support office wont do anything to her. I dont think its fair that I pay support and do not get to spend time with my kids. I am a good father to them and we always have fun when we are together. The state laws are all against the fathers and there are no written laws to protect us, it costs me more money to take her to court for matters like this and the court systems always feel sorry for her and side with her. We have not been to court on a custody issue since the divorce, but I feel when I go to court on this it will just cost me more money and the state will not do anything to her. She needs to go to jail, just as I would if I didnt pay support, but that will never happen. The laws are written for women, not men.

We did make a custody agreement, but I still have to take her to court when she doesnt follow it. If I dont pay support, she calls the enforcement office and will have me locked up.... that has not been the case thus far as I pay my support.

Go to a civil court. Ask for visitation rights. The court will surely grant you as you are the father. Even if under supervision. Don't waste your time thinking of all these coercive means of putting your ex in jail. As it appears, the authority is at this stage favouring your ex. So do not spoil your chances of getting a civil decree in your favour for visitation rights. I do not know of the divorce proceedings, whether the kids said anything against you but keep yourself out of further blame and reason for the civil court to disbelieve you in any way. File for visitation and file the case correctly. If handled well, you will in 3 months be able to meet your children, at least once a week.
I read your additional statement.
I still say. Go to the civil court and not the police. The civil courts ruling predominates over the criminal courts ruling. GO TO THE CIVIL COURT. PLACE YOUR PETITION COVERING ONLY ONE OR TWO PAGES. BE PRECISE. DO NOT GIVE USELESS DESCRIPTION OF ALL MATTERS. ASK FOR VISITATION RIGHTS OF YOUR CHILDREN, BUT IF THEY ARE INFANTS, YOU WILL NOT GET CUSTODY. IF THE CHILDREN ARE NOT INFANTS, THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET CUSTODY IF YOUR CASE IS STRONG. BUT ONLY HANDLE MATTERS THROUGH A CIVIL COURT. A CRIMINAL COURT IS COERCIVE, BUT DOES NOT HAVE LASTING STRENGTH.

Unfortunately, without a custody agreement, there's not much you can do. You need to make an appointment with a family court mediator and have them go over the paperwork with you. Filing it with the court will cost you some money, but not as much as actually getting a lawyer and trying to fight her for visitation rights. I'm sorry you're going through this...it's the good guys who get screwed over by the legal system when it comes to your kids.

When you divorced, why didn't you discuss custody arrangements? That's odd to me....when there are children involved, shouldn't that all be figured out along with all the rest of the divorce stuff?

I DONT KNOW WHAT STATE YOU ARE IN... BUT IN TEXAS.... IF A WOMAN REFUSES TO LET THE FATHER TO SEE THE CHILD.. REGARDLESS IF HE IS PAYING OR NOT... SHE CANNOT DENY HIM TO SEE THE CHILD... WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS GET A LAWYER THAT SPECIALIZES IN FAMILY LAW.. (PRO BONO) AND JUST GET SOME ADVICE.... KUDOS TO YOU FOR BEING A GREAT FATHER AND AT LEAST BEING THERE FOR YOUR CHILD FINANCIALLY... BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY OUT THE THAT DONT CARE.... WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN IS THAT YOU ARE BOTH GONNA HAVE TO GO TO COURT.... AND SHE WILL BE FINED EVERYTIME SHE DENIES YOU TO SEE YOUR CHILD... YOU CAN ALSO GET THE POLICE INVOLVED... ALL YOU NEED IS THE COURT ORDER AND THEY WILL HELP YOU SEE YOUR CHILD.. GOOD LUCK!
