Just cuz we're married or coupled doesn't mean that we're getting some. It's lonley here too.

Well, I mean, its either that or some of us don't have a significant other to make hot, passionate love with. And some of us realize that Valentines day is a pathetic excuse for a holiday that is primarily bolstered by the "Hallmark" card companies of the world. Not to mention the idiocy of absolutely HAVING to buy your woman/man chocolates and/or flowers or otherwise they hate your guts. Wouldn't people like it so much more if they got presents completely and totally unexpectedly?
Also, learn to spell, Copernicus.

Oh, please. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. #1, many of us out in the world don't or can't celebrate Valentine's Day with our mate for a variety of reasons. Weather (the Northeaster, for example), distance, and work are just a few.

Valentine's Day is a needed holiday, to some extent, for we cannot take our mates for granted. But, to have a decent long term relationship we should work to appreciate our mates more than just once a year. That's why I'm not sulking because my sweetie is not hear with me tonight...for we will be getting together this weekend, and I can't wait.

Valentine's Day is not just to appreciate your mates, either. It's a day to appreciate the ones you love. This includes parents, children, dogs and goldfish. You should also be nice to your #1 fan...yourself.

Personally my husband is a truck driver, if not having sex tonight keeps food on my table, a roof over my head and clothes on my back then I guess I am in the "loser" category. Rock on losers!

Oh, please. Losers? I prefer to see myself as independent of all of the silly traditionalism of Valentine's Day, and am just happy to be with my family. So what if we spend a few minutes on the computer?
