You should find someone that you trust and talk to them about how you are feeling so you can get some of those feelings off your chest. It will help you relieve some of the stress or pain you might be feeling just knowing that someone out there cares about you and is willing to listen. I've felt the same way several times and I think that talking was the most effective method for me. Other than that, maybe you should consider talking to a doctor. As much as some people don't like the thought, there are medications out there to help you feel a bit more relaxed. I'm sure you really don't want to die...if you did, you wouldn't have asked your question. Just remember that there's always someone out there that loves you and would miss you terribly if you ceased to exist and think of how much pain you will cause if you do anything to hurt yourself. I hope this helped.

Call a suicide hotline and resolve that you will feel better. Contact a mental health professional right away. Remember that you are depressed and don't beat yourself up over feeling this way or for any other reason. There is a lot of support there waiting for you, even if you don't feel it. There really are brighter days ahead. Don't cheat yourself out of them. I urge you to get help immediately. Go away from the computer and pick up the phone. Help is just a phone all away. Suicide hotline. Call information or 911 if you don't know the number. God bless...

Join a support group either in person or online, or find someone in your family or a friend to talk to. Sometimes, talking to someone gets problems out of your head and into the open, where it's easier to deal with them. Instead of letting worries constantly circle in your thoughts, share them with someone who can help you see them for the temporary states they are. Someone who can help you figure out ways to deal with the things that are causing you so much stress. Your life can change. That knowlege alone should encourage you to think of a time not too long from now when you will be doing better and living more happily. It IS possible. Look into your heart and think about what you want from your life. Life can be good, so don't give up on it. Don't wait for changes to come to you. Make changes yourself, and slowly your life will turn in directions you want it to go.

Accept that you have a problem which needs urgent attention, First, make an appointment to see a doctor, who will diagnose whether you are suffering from clinical depression, which may require you to take medication for a time. Then go to: www.depression.com/- and view the information, links and suggestions to be found in the blog of Shan Eris on "tackling depression" at www.myspace.com (http://www.myspace.com/7087317) Also view: www.relax7.com/7.php and later on, go to your library and check out the medical and psychology section for books on the subject.

Please visit a medical doctor specializing in mental health consultation and medication, don't visit a psychiatrist (it's another case). Sometime people think negatively like that, it's normal, so you will definitely feel better after some visits. However, you're required to visit the doctor regularly as advised, it's important to your improval and normal life again. Take care.

Go to church. I'm being serious. If you feel you have nothing left to live for, what you need is faith that things will eventually get better. If you have no one else that you can talk to go to the nearest church of your choice.
