Nobody was talking about trading mcnabb but rumor columnists. If you haven't noticed, Reid is commited to Mcnabb in every way.
I think we do need to have a long term QB option at back up, but I don't think drafting one in the first round makes sense either.
We shouldn't be rebuilding quite yet. The NFC is extremely weak, and with a few good moves, we should be able to contend again.
I think our top priorities are another RB to compliment westbrook, LB's, a DT with girth to eat up the run, and a saftey to replace Mike Lewis (who they will let walk).
I'd like to see them re-sign stalworth....but they won't....so WR is the F/A priority.
It seems like it's the same exact priorities EVERY season.

All the top rated quarterbacks will be gone by Philly's draft spot. It takes 1-2 years for a quarterback to mature correctly in the NFL. Philly would be trade Mcnabb and they would not have a starting QB. Don't trade McNabb keep him and draft Patrick Willis a inside linebacker. In the 2-4 rounds draft a QB and bring him on slowly. Remember Tom Brady was drafted in the 6 round.

They have to keep McNabb. He is still a very good QB, and the Eagles are too close to getting themselves into the Super Bowl. By the time they could get a rookie QB seasoned enough for the big game they may have lost some of the other talent they have on the team now.

No, Mcnabb is proned to get hurt, but he is a great QB, he got philly to 4 straight conference titles and 1 superbowl..... Jeff garcia is an unrestricted free agent, and he is also 37 years old, so they could not rely on him to backup quinn if their season starts to slip away.... Mcnabb is the perfect fit in philly, and they don't plan on getting rid of him any time soon

Its is amazing how fast Philly fans will turn on a guy. Name four QB's in the NFL who are better than him. Donovan is a great player if Reid sticks with the run like he did later on in the year Philly will be among the top NFC teams. KEEP McNabb

i think they should wait another year before drafting a QB in the first round. the Eagles need to sure up their Defense. Trotter, Kerse, Dawkins are all getting really old. secocndly a RB is more in need, Westbook is also getting pretty old. i say have them learn under someone who is great, (especially dawkins) so when they retire, you have a new and great player to look forward to. a young QB can wait for now. McNabb would still be under contract next year, so no need to rush.

They need to keep McNabb(he was the best QB in the league till he got injured) and he still has quite a few good years, so I would look to improve their defensive line or their secondary in the first round with the likes of alan branch or leon hall if either of them is available

Sorry to break it to you, but quinns not that good. Jamarcus russel would be perfect to replace mcnabb, so if they were thinking of replacing him, they'd trade up to get him, they'll stick with mcnabb though, hes a great qb.

Keep McNabb. He isnt a lost cause yet. I think Timmy Chang might be his replacement.

NcNabb is one of the best QB's in the league, as well as one of the toughest. In 10 games (before the knee injury) he had already thrown for 2,647 yards, 19 TD's, and had a Passer Rating of 95.5 (placing him 4th in the league with guys that had played the whole season). They would be nuts to get rid of him. I think you use your pick to pick up a WR or maybe a DB. When they're healthy they're not in bad shape on either side of the ball.
