his head is wide because of an accident which occurred when he was jumping on his bed and he hit his head against the ceiling which flattened it to its football shape. however they contradict themselves(the makers of family guy) in a later episode when they show Stewie when he is still in his mother (Lois) with a wide head. but the family guy is made to be funny so stop asking questions and enjoy the show.

Daniel S is right, there was an episode that showed it happen, good job Daniel.. My question is, weren't there supposed to be new episodes?.. I mean I saw a couple.. Did they stop making them because they weren't watched a lot or something?..
And I think they should make new episodes of Mission Hill, and the Oblongs, and Futurama, I've seen all the re-runs.. I want new ones dang it.. They should just stop making Morel Oral, and that stupid@ss Tom goes to the Mayor, and Squidbillies, they are retarded..
