Looks like improper installation to me, you have what looks like 2 J hook hangers that held the cabinet up and one of them is turned sideways which gives NO support Seems to me If I were you I'd be calling the cabinet man back for repairs and working something out for damages.

From the pics it looks like it fell. I see quite a few canned goods which add to the weight. It looks like there are only 2 small anchors near the top that still have 2 screws going into the wall and 2 screws left there that pulled through the wood. I think it fell straight down, hit something on the countertop to make it tilt and then fell on the floor. I also notice 2 other holes in the wall but it does not look like the cabinet was anchored there. Also the cabinets are suppose to be screwed to each other and this does not appear so.

From looking at your photos, I can only see one or two possible anchors. It appears that the majority of the cabinet support was the 2 brackets near the top on the wall.

My opinion>>> It fell off the wall due to improper attachment.

They fell off the the wall.
I see very little anchors in the wall and very little holes in the back of a (partical board). Really the only support was the tile.

By the looks of the can goods. The cabinets did not even come close to being installed right.

The cupboard appears to have come off the wall.It appears the cupboard was not attached securely to the vertical(wood) studs behind the wall to support the weight.Drywall or wallboard is not strong enough for this installation.

That is a good question. You might have somebody in mind that may be suspected of pulling on the cupboard.
I don''t think there is enough evidence in the pictures to tell for sure. One picture does show quite a lot of content. More important would be it's weight. What does not show is the screws or other fasteners. Their length and number as well as what they were fastened into is critical in deciding this question. Good luck.

It appears that this cabinet was improperly anchored and was over- loaded with too much weight. The result was inevitable, considering the quality of the cabinet and the poor installment.
