Yes, but sadly enough society has placed a higher importance on immediate gratification and has tolerated and incouraged a lack of responsibility in people. People nowadays are too selfish for most to last. Not everybody though. Keep looking!

It sounds like you are going through a very painful situation at the moment. You will fall in love again but only when the time is right. The time will be right when you can eventually let go of the guy you currently love and accept that your relationship is over. This is a difficult thing to do and it can take time-how long, I don't know as everyone is different and some people heal quicker than others. There is no exact answer to healing your broken heart but some good ways are to keep busy by going to work, seeing friends, doing hobbies or taking up new hobbies. It takes time but at some stage you will move on and be ready to love again. best wishes Alex

Well for me, yes. My husband and I have been together ten years in March and married 6 years. I can truly say we love each other because we love the "true" person, with all the flaws and imperfections. We are not in it for a temporay thing. We want a long term, real love and that means we have ups and downs and arguments but we always love each other no matter what. When people meet us they think we are newlyweds. We have the same spark we did as when we first met. Now I can see a lot of people who marry too early or think they are in love in the first 6 months of the relationship but it ends quickly. So I think you have to be honest with yourself and as to what you want in a love. I hate all the drama, I want a secure romance and I found someone else who wants it too. Great question!!

Yes. Its what comes when noone is looking for it.
We all look for it because in every fairytale and story, love is what brings happiness and we all search for happiness.
People today are always searching for something more. That's part of our society telling us to reach further, aim higher, dig deeper. Many relationships might have actually worked if that urge wasn't there; the urge or "what if there is more out there for me?"
You wont know who really fell in love now... not until you ask them 60 years from now and they're still together which would mean when they were in love back then... they REALLY were.

Love is so hard to define! So, how can one know. Is love a feeling? Is it a decision? Is it a commitment?
If it is a decision and a commitment--I am very much in love with my husband. We have been married for 26 years and I am fully committed to him and will remain his loyal companion for as long as he will have me. But sometimes people define love as a feeling of strong emotion, of giddiness, heart beating out of control. If you define that as love--that was gone a long time ago and replaced by a determine committment because we are a family and he is the father of my children. So it all boils down to...what is love?

Believe it or not, yes, it's just no one ever talks about it anymore we're too focused on the spur of the momment flings we had last weekend. Bleh. Tells you something about society...if our tv commercials didn't tell you something about it already. . .

YES! I am in love! I have been in love with the same man of 13 years. And I'm looking forward to many more years with him.

Yes. I just think too many people are looking for love. Love is weird, It comes when you stop looking for it, when you stop trying to find that person, you'll find them.
