For some people ovulation predictors don't work. If instance if you are taking fertility drugs. There are also cases where women do not ovulate every month. You could have missed your ovulation but, did you get it to have a faint line at all? My ovulation test predict your 2 most fertile days atleast. I know when I used one I got 2 days of a dark line and 2 days of a faint line. Did you have other symptoms of ovulation such as eggwhite cervical mucus. It is also possible to have ovulated and not shown up positive as well. Best of luck, hope I could of been some help.

From what I have heard you are supposed to take the ovulations tests at the same time every day. I know it is hard to do this exactly at the same time but I would say it is safe to try to pick and hour window. This way you are not going past a 24 hour mark. The test dhows a surge in hormone levels whick happen 24-48 hours BEFORE ovulation so even if you were late to test you would not have missed your ovulation. I hope this helps.

When the ovulation test comes back positive it means that in the next 24-48 hours you are going to ovulate...so you really have about a three day window or so to try to conceive...I use the clear blue easy fertility monitor instead of just the test sticks...I find it to work much better. So if you have missed this window it will come back neg. Good Luck!
