when you really wanna watch something and it says "this has been removed due to copyright violation"?! like you would buy some howard stern video to watch that interview anyway??! or buy a video of some band on the late night show?! totally sucks

^ my point is they probably aren't losing money. in fact they might make money from publicity, like what happened with SNL and lazy sunday. youtube phenomenon = increased viewers!

Yes! They've been doing that alot lately. It pisses me off when I go to watch something on my favorites and find it's been removed. Like the live version of "Lady Marmalade" that the ladies performed at the MTV movie awards. It's like five years old. How much money could the people who own the copyright be losing by having it on there? I agree with mrmark. Most of the videos put on by regular people are stupid and/or boring.

Honestly, copyrighted videos is what makes youtube so great, I personally do not find enjoyment by sitting at my computer watching some ugly bloke talk about their small opinions on issues or fake actors/actresses trying to make it big by creating false personas on YT (aka lonelygirl15)

yeah I hate that. LIke I love The Office but I dont wanna buy the whole DVD for just a couple of episodes.

Yes i hate it too, a week ago i went on youtube to watch a favorite music video of mine then it said account suspended/video deleted (because of blah blah blah..) seriously it's been irriating the heck outta me.
