Artists are victims of the Buzzards Curse. When god made birds he told the Buzzards that he would give them the largest wing span and the ability to fly for hours on end; more than any other bird. "But, he said, in return you must eat dead things."
You have been given a unique gift and the ability to see and express things not given to ordinary people. "But, in return people will think you odd." Do you really care what others think? Would you give up your gift and become mortal?

they are not crazy they think differently and people mistake it for crazy and as for all these disease the doctors say we need meds are lieing. Most imbalances are cause be chemicals in the food we eat and organic food can make a huge difference believe me i have been through the whole depression thing and i know how being on meds feels. The thing is artists have a different way of thinking and not only do they think differently they make something productive of it. In my opinion artist take everyday things and thoughts and a brave enough to put it in abstract form.
weird thoughts are ok and being out of the ordinary is ok the reason you think it is not is because society has set a standard they consider to be normal and i don't believe it is right but that is the way it is. be yourself and don't let the government or other people tell you how to think and feel. your thought are something no one can take away from you so use them and don't try to change them.

No lol, not all artists are crazy. That is a myth. I would use the terms esentric, different, creative and odd. Artists do see things differently I think, so that may make them look crazy but anyways they can be just as crazy as anyone else.

Of course not all the artists are crazy. Just some are. That's because they think differently from the general population and very few people ever understand them. So they seem crazy.
I also have different ideas about life. Sometimes I feel it's hard for me to live but that doesn't really make me crazy. I'm just different.

As another artist I can say that yes unfortuanately you are most likely to be quite eccentric, which in the world of a pill can fix everything makes you crazy. However, it is this craze that is our fixation with the aspects of life that we mirror in our art. It is very taxing to your mentality, but if you can survive with some good friends you usually come out all right. I've actually ended up proving that the crazy side of my life is infectious on those around me.

We are all born knowing nothing.
Everyone is "crazy" to a degree.
As we grow older, we each develop areas of knowledge and expertise that we are good in.
You should not feel "crazy" for not fitting in with the crowd.
Even if you do not know everything that person does, you have areas that you know that others do not. You are uniquely gifted.
There never will be another you after you are gone. may be similar, but can't be replaced.

Sometimes we are tormented by our past which
need to be released, our social, emotional and
psychological associations are in juxtaposition to
our expressions in expression our inferences, we may
seem to be odd, strange, shy, restless, moody, angry
and manifest a period of consciousness unlike the
the regular folks about our field of awareness, our expressions
can be forgeries of what we truly feel, or exact cliches
of our emotional economy, when my wife was alive she would simply say, i was weird to some extent, and she was correct,
she be could speaking to me, yet i would hear nothing she was
saying because i was working within my mind and
arranging music or paragraphs for script, artist can be taught,
and in these cases perhaps the artist can be viewed as
normal, then you have artist as myself who have never
been trained, or read music, yet draw from emotional
in folding, and need to express experiences as an outlet or
catharsis as it were, we also have a relationship with
the sciences where originality and emphasis on novelty
do come in handy in breaking habit of thought, the form
of communication from our work are processes of inner
patterns, ascending gradients and wacky ways that to
an on looker, they see us as a true outsider of society and an
necessity of culture, a subsidiary of our lives as we experienced
our path to becoming who we are............
One could say, artist are like the Shaman,
we are the visions from within to show the world what
has been hidden, and in doing so, we seem a bit strange>>>
