Now, that s a loaded question! If I became prez in the USA the first thing I d push through is term limits for all politicians. Serving one s country should not be a life-long career: they are beholden only to those who help them get re-elected. Because politicians get BIG contributions from oil, drug, auto makers, insurance cos. unions etc. we really pay through the nose for these products and these are the people who write the laws and run the country. Our founding fathers set this country up to be run by the citizenry...so why do we stand for this!!!?

I'd get out of Iraq and actually start immigration reform.
By that meaning giving a chance all those who have came in to the US and actually worked and have been good people a chance to become citizens. I'd lower the fee's involved with the citizenship process and I'd also just stop all the nonsense with the wall at the border.

I would use my excutive power to make it a law that all legal citizens from the age of 16 to 65 have a wepon in thier position at all times and be trained in the use of it.
Also I would make it a law that all workers that reside within the borders of my country pay taxes at a set rate of 17% of there grose wadges. No loopholes

I'd negotiate trade agreements with many Asian countries, slap duties on nations which do not allow open-access to certain industries by Canadian companies. This will keep many Canadians from loosing jobs to low-wage Asian competition.

free interprise...because i dont know. it's 4am, and if i think on it while i'm rested and alert, i wont just think of the first phrase to pop into my head. oh, yea, and the law that says all slaves are free expires at the end of every term so the next pres. has the right to NOT sign it....i guess i would make it permanent.
