Many times I think my friends have a better family, more rewarding life, and sometimes I'm especially envious of their confidence. Everyone finds aspects in other people that we would want strive for to make us feel better about ourselves. True, that can help us develop rewarding and more intriguing qualities. But what really gets me through is knowing how unhappy I'd be stuck in my friend's life with none of my own attributes. I love to be myself: the result of peers' influence as well as my own ambition.
