I am supposed to write a paper, and it has be exploring some sort of problem. Could be about anything relating to business. Something that is not easily resolved. My paper is not supposed to end conclusively. Essentially my point at the end is that the problem is complex and no one knows the answer. A dumb thing to do a paper on, but I don't have a choice. Any ideas?

Dot.com bust . . . effects of nuclear war on businesses - (war products increase in value, domestic ones may decrease) . . . wonderful new vaccine that cures cancer (effects on medical field, drugs, hospitals, nurses, etc.), effects of alternative fuels - say if the oil runs out and all of a sudden all of us have to use alternatives to gas in the cars, busses, trucks (deliveries), ships, how commerce will be affected by that.

good luck . . . it's an interesting assignment really. Lots to think about!

How to slow the turn over rate...you can write about how much money a company puts into a new hire, and how it is or is not worth it, and then how to keep people from jumping ship and wasting the training and time it took to hire them. Everything from the application process, to interviews, to pre-employment screening and tests.

Go public or stay private?
This discussion is always inconclusive because pros and cons are hard to measure and there are grounds to argue endlessly on the opposite.

The link below leads to an academic page with abstract on that issue.
