No, how would people like it if they had their birth right taken from them. Say your dad was a billionaire and the people told you you could not have a penny of his money and get out of your house just because the people are jealous. We have an advantage over most countries as our head of state is for life. Imagine all the change every four years. We have enough problems with the government as it is. A royal family stands firm and silent, what a great mentor.

Can we keep the Queen and William then get rid of that bunch of misfits she calls her family?Andrew and Harry especially, one is never off the golf course, the other never out of night clubs(how does he get the time off, being in the army?)Charles and Anne can have part time positions.Edward and Prince Philip, not a good one between the two of them. They should have been put out to pasture ages ago.Money under false pretences there.God the Queen deserves a medal been lumbered with a family like that.

It isn't "racist" to disapprove when your government awards citizenship in the state to those who are not part of the nation. The state is a vessel which is supposed to contain and preserve the nation. Or, maybe it would be better to say, such disapproval is proper, whether it is "racist" or not.

The monarchy is completely unnecessary, so I'd vote to NOT have the Queen as head of state.

Actually I despise monarchy, not The monarchy. Not The Royal Family. I despise institutionalized inequality and class privilege of all types. Monarchy is simply wrong. The family themselves are just people, I don't hate them, I just want them out of my face, off my currency and out of my constitution.

We don't need a monarchy, they don't seem particularly good at the job, they cost a lot of money and they are a symbol of everything Britain should no longer be standing for: class privilege and the hereditary principle.

You're obviously American, as the Queen is NOT head of state. Why do yanks love the royal family so much?

To answer your question. No.

I think the Queen is a part of our culture, history, tradition and custom. That alone dictate she carry on.

God Save the Queen

Those who say no to royalty, have no idea how much they bring into the chancellor's coffers through prestige visits and tourism.

I think it would diminish Britain if the head of state was done away with.

Hey - we'd be more like America then!!
