so ive read mythology by edith hamilton awesome book.
what do you think the book has to teach us about life today?
have you guys learned anything from it?

Edith says it herself in the introduction. Through their myths, we learn that ancient Greeks were not unlike ourselves.

We think the world has changed so much. But in over 2000 years, people are still mostly the same.

Maybe it tells us that you shouldn't be a biased person and choose one over the other (the golden apple).
Friends are also foes. (trojan war)
Dont' judge too quickly. The guy kills himself before he realizes the girl is alive!(forgot)
The over all thing is our world is almost like mythology with all the wars and sad and anger and punishment.
I guess we live in a strange land.
