You're a freshman! It's supposed to be crappy at first. You can't do anything yet-- give it time.
My most favorite year was senior year. My friends and I went to SC on spring break, we did all kinds of cool stuff. Don't worry, you will too! Don't be in such a hurry, you have plenty of time. Enjoy every single day, cause life comes at you like an avalanche once you go to college and start your major.

Life after high school is much better. Oh, high school was okay. I was part of most organizations, was on the student council, was class officer, went to the dances, etc., and I still have no idea where the idea came from that "high school will be the best years of your life" came from. For me, it was a stepping stone to a higher education. Your best bet is to join in the extracurricular activities and study hard. You'll come in contact with people that have similar interests which is a surefire way to make friends. Oh, and heads up on the cliques...they are just an illusion.
Best luck to you and don't worry too much. You'll do just fine.

Life is what you make it; past, present, and future. My life was good and bad then, and good and bad now. I like both, and it is a matter of perspective. After graduation and upon diving into the real world, you see how petty high school was, yet you also remember how simple it was back then. Enjoy being young, carefree, and the journey of inventing and reinventing yourself everyday. This time will never come again for you. Make the most of it by experiencing as much as you can before you really have to become an adult.

Look enjoy everyday of your life. You take what you bring so no matter where you are what you are doing, you will be a happy person if you are a happy person, you will be a sad person if you are a sad person.
After high school, you will be you but older. Everyone else the same. The only difference is experience. Growing up and getting more education. Besides, you'll meet many more people and have better and or more opportunities for life.

I gotta say it was better before high school.
My high school experience was mainly about boys(I had a boyfriend at that time, a senior), clothes, and everything but The best part of high school was my friends, who lasted until now, They are Great company.
But If I gotta choose between my high school years and my college year, I gotta chose my college years, simply because I now have more choices of men(sometimes even high school boys), and in college, the World is just so much bigger than high school. College opens you to possibilities.
But I guess that high school was the first time I ever had something I regretted. After high school my regrets just become bigger and bigger.

I hated school - terrible place. I had some friends, but we were all grey mice.........we were all bullied by the 'in crowd'. Turned out years later, some that were real bitches are now falling over themselves to be nice. I can't weigh up if I should just think - well, we were kids and perhaps it was their insecurities or if I should think, I didn't like them then, and I'm never going to. Perhaps I'll just keep them at arms length.
My life was on an up once I left school. Hope yours is...

Definatly during, mostly because I too am a freshman, and I'm loving it. But I'll probably like life after, but maybe not... I don't have [or ever have had] a boyfriend, so I know how that's like. Maybe to make new friends, you should talk to people more, especially if you're shy. I have that problem too. But good luck!

During, but the only thing is you don't know that until you have graduated and found out how lousy life can really become. Enjoy it while you are there because life will never be the same afterwords.
