I just ate with my bf at O'Charleys for Valentines Day and their yummy potato soup has my stomach really upset! I think I may be pregnant and I'm waiting to test next week. Has anyone experienced this before finding out they were pregnant or experienced it soon after they found out??

Yes, My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for some time and had given up because nothing seemed to be working. My doctor told me we were trying too hard and that perhaps the stress was keeping us from conceiving so to stop trying for awhile and let our lives get back to normal and destress. So we decided to stop trying for awhile. Shortly after that we went to our favorite resturant to eat breakfast. They had a wonderful breakfast buffett and it was my very fav place to go for Sunday breakfast. The moment I sat down with my plate and smelled the sausage I had to run to the restroom and throw up. I could not eat one bite and instantly knew I needed to get a pregnancy test. We left there and went directly to the nearest store and purchased a test. It was positive. With my second child we were grocery shopping and the sample ladies were passing out none other than "sausage samples". The moment I rounded the corner and smelled the sausage I got sick and almost didn't make it to the restroom before loosing my lunch. I immediately told my husband that I was pregnant again. He asked me if we needed a test and I told him that if he needed confirmation we would get one, but I was sure. We were pregnant again and my first child was only 5 months old. Talk about getting past the stress obstacle. Five years later the opposite happened. I had always gotten sick at the mere smell of tequila, but one day oddly enough I started craving it. Not being a drinker I knew what this meant. Today we are the proud parents of three children. So in a very long winded answer to your question, Yes you might be pregnant and no you do not have to wait until you have missed a period to find out. Today's tests will detect pregnancy as early as 5 days after conception. Good luck.

No, that thought is a bit odd to me. Could you be pregnant in the first place? Maybe you have food poisoning. When was your last period? Did you eat too much etc? There are alot of factors to explain. Maybe acid reflux. I found out after morning sickness, not just after dinner the same day.

Yeah, tomatoes and fast food. Yuck. Also there were a few others I loved tuna and sour cream and was very moody. I took the test 7 days before my missed period and I was pregnant. I thought I could be 2 weeks before my missed period, but it was my hubby who bought the test the next week because he thought I was moodier than usual. He bought three. Of course I was preggo.

16 weeks pregnant
