The suggested weight gain during a pregnancy is 25-35 pounds, but some doctors may suggest you to gain more depending on certain things. If you want to know what a good weight gain for you is during a pregnancy talk to your doctor. He or She would be able to answer your question better....

I gained approximately 40 lbs whether it become in the final couple of weeks in my third trimester that I gained 30 lbs by using water retention. i become puffy and had to be precipitated. different than that, all the way by using my being pregnant i did no longer income any weight, esp no longer in the 1st trimester. around 6 mo I had gained like 8 lbs yet my abdomen kind of poked out. in the final month, I blew up and you're able to truly tell i become pregnant. i've got observed that lots- that if somebody isn't exhibiting or does not income countless weight in the commencing up, they progressively get extra effective in the final couple of months. and for all that water weight, my toddler become 7 lbs 3 oz. :) i think of they say you're "meant" to income like 25 lbs yet that's no longer lots. or maybe gaining 40 lbs, I heavily lost it w/in the 1st week of having my toddler and now I weigh below i did until eventually now I have been given pregnant.

It varies: my mom had me and my sister (twins), she gained just 25 lbs. Many women gain less, but most usually gain more (even carrying just one child). Is it 20-30 or 20-35, something like that.

I think it really depends on alot of factors. Are you under or over weight, how tall are you, what's your bone structure like, and how many babies are you pregnant with? The best way to know for certain is to ask your doctor so that you can learn the amount that's exactly right for you.

They don't want you to gain more than 20.
Might depend on your personal doctor.
