Wilson was an idealist which meant that he belived in cooperation between all the different states.
The main objective of his 14 points was for there to never be another war again. The most important point, to him, was the League of Nations. He felt that every state joined together, it would promote cooperation. Also, if everyone was together, they could punish agressor states. Unfortunately, the League failed mainly because the US did not join it.

The Fourteen Points were to create a world that
would have a lasting peace. Most will state the
League of Nations. A open Assembly to talk to the countries of the world. Others were like freedom of the seas and other problems that created the First World War.
