I received a notice of Levy in the mail from a creditor. This also included a Writ of execution. What is this?

It means you are to surrender property in order to pay a debt and it means they are coming after you.

Expect a deputy sheriff or marshall to take the property named on the writ of execution. Service of the writ of execution may create a judgment lien in your state, meaning that if you sell the named property, your buyer would take it subject to the claims of the judgement creditor.
