Please teach me how to use it. I asked a teacher and she didn't know.

they are FUNCTION KEYS used for different things during system boot and during the computer being used when it is booted up. such as when you boot the system, hit F8 for safemode or when your system is already on, hit F1 to bing the help menu up, F3 will bring the find or search feature up for finding things in your computer. F5 is for refreshing the internet page you are viewing and so on. you can hit the keys and find out what they all do.... have fun

they are "function" keys and do different things in different applications and on different operating systems. for example, if using windows and in windows explorer, F2 allows you to rename the folder or file you have highlighted. Shift F6 moves between open worksheets in excel on a mac. the list goes on...

function keys... They have different purpose for a kind of program just look for help in your tool bar.
