You would be causing more harm to the baby by drinking cow's milk. It is laced with growth hormones, antibiotics, and many other nasty chemicals. It can also cause severe bloating, cramps, and diarrhea.

Humans are the only animal that drinks milk past infancy, and then it's not even from the correct species! Too many people are still trying to defend milk's supposed health benefits. Unfortunately, they are either using old information or information obtained from research funded by the dairy association. How many people would enjoy a glass of dog's milk or rat's milk? What makes cows special?

There are only two reasons which I've found to support humans drinking cow's milk. We have grown up hearing that it's good for us and we've grown accustomed to the taste and texture. There is absolutely no nutrition that can not be obtained elsewhere, minus the negatives. Calcium seems to be the major claim for milk. It can be found elsewhere in green vegetables, almonds, and many other sources. Where do you think the cows obtain the calcium to put into the milk? Where do other larger animals (elephants, horses, deer, whales, etc) get calcium? Why we continue to drink cow's milk laced with growth hormones, antibiotics, and who knows what else is beyond me.

Since I've given up drinking milk about 5 years ago my health has greatly improved. I suffer fewer allergy problems, asthma and breathing problems are greatly reduced, I'm sleeping better, and I have more energy.

In the '50s smoking was considered harmless but now we realize its dangers. One person at a time and eventually the truth will become widely known that cow's milk is only for baby cows. Milk is indeed the perfect food, but only for infants of the proper species.

Do some research online and decide for yourself.

Different foods can provide some calcuim but not a lot. If you are able to drink milk and not react badly to it. I would suggest you try to drink it. It helps your bones as well as your babies, and besides the baby is taking from you. If your not getting enough it could end up harming both you and your baby

I also was not a big milk drinker at all - but you can get the calcium from cheese, yogurt, etc. Do you eat any of those foods. What about ice cream! The baby will take what she needs from your body and you will suffer (teeth, hair, etc.) long before she does. Keep up w/ your PNV and try other sources rather than milk for your calcium. They even have the calcium chews by the vitamins that taste like chocolate!

No, It received't harm your toddler. My spouse only had a toddler 2 months in the past, and something we realized is that maximum of what you'll study and what's actual are 2 quite some issues. i'm no longer putting forward now to not listen on your well being care provider or now to not take advice from books and magazines i'm only putting forward that the proper advice we were given got here from our moms and grandmothers, and the proper advice we were given from them replaced into only to adhere on your instincts, that's area of nature that upon getting a toddler you in elementary words seam to draw close what you want to do and what's top on your toddler,so briefly do not imagine only because you've a cup of espresso or something that's particularly sweet or drink a soda or have some quickly nutrition that you'll harm your toddler because possibilities are severe you've no longer something to pressure about as long as you do not only eat and drink junk and stuff like that. sturdy success and may want to you and your toddler have a contented and healthful lifestyles.

I HATE milk and din't drink it while I was pregnant. I know prenantal vitamins provide some and certain foods have it. Eat other dairy products and be careful. Whatever the baby needs they'll get it form you and if there's not enough you'll get sick where as the baby won't. Not too safe.

Try things such as yogurt or calcium enriched orange juice or juice.
The calcium is not just important for babies development but your own health as well. Also you can get a calcium supplement.

You are trust me, and you will be the one to suffer, your body will pull every bit of nutrients out of you to support your baby if need be and you will suffer from week bones and poor teeth. If you don't like milk then take a supplement. You will be thankful.

Calcium comes from alot of other things too that you probably eat, and also your vitamins if you are taking those. You can even take a tums with calcium daily. I was lacking calcium, which is normal in pregnancy and my doctor suggested a tums daily.

I never drank milk when I was pregnant. I can't stand it. Just make sure your prenatal has enough calcium in it or take some kind of calcium supplement. Just run it by your doctor before you take it.
