Since Hillary and Obama are two important precandidates from that party.
I don't live in the US, but if I was there I'd choose Giuliani for President.

I'm not being racist or sexist, I just think the US electors are known for being more conservative than other countries.

They seem to think America is ready to make records and think electing a woman would make a difference. I don't think it will ever happen. I think the same about Giuliani. He would be the better bet.

I'm not sure what your point is or what you're getting at. Just because someone never was president before (i.e., African-American or a female president) does not mean that they are incapable of being elected. If anyone has a chance, it's either one of the 2 of them as both of them have considerable political clout and are both highly recognized as having the strong potential for presidential electability. All things that have happened were once things that had never happened before. There's a first time for everything. No great change has ever occured by saying, "Well this is the way we have always done it, so let's continue." That just yields more of the same.

It would be wrong, if not plain foolish, to underestimate the voters' desire for change and their political sophistication in weighing available information to choose a candidate purely on merit. Your argument that anything as yet untried is likely to fail would only make sense to an ostrich.
The stay the course candidate - dark suit, gray hair, red tie - whoever it may turn out to be, will have a deal of work to do to seem even mildly interesting by comparison!

Though both are considered Democratic Party front runners for the 2008 election, neither have been elected as the Democratic nominee. So I can't say the Republicans are going to have it easy.

As a white male in the US, I think we are due for a female, or non-caucasian president.

I'm not sure what you mean. If we don't have a Black or a woman for President, the Dems are making it easier for the Republicans to do what? Do you mean that because they are the leading candidates for the Democrats, it makes it easier for the Republicans to win? Could be, but then they went with Kerry last time.

Dont matter who the Dems run they r going 2 win. G. Bush has totally destroyed the Reps. I believe however that Hillary will get the nod as the Clinton name is still very popular among voters.

the recent gallup poll said over 90% of americans would vote for a black.

guiliani doesn't stand a chance because 1 he's been through 3 divorces which the last one he told his WIFE THROUGH A NEWS CONFERNCE HE WAS LEAVING HER (so you'd vote for that? guess that tells us where your values are..or lack of them). second he did nothing for nyc. ed kotch cleaned up nyc..giuliani actually failed on 911 because he shifted (against the advice of all 2 major public services...chief of police, chief of the fire dept) he moved the command center for all of these to THE WORLD TRADE CENTER..guess what..it went down with the towers (but why doesn't fox news ever report that?)

also the only thing he did for nyc after the attacks was to place a curfew on the city while he HIGH TAILED IT OUT OF TOWN FOR A SAFER PLACE

oh how honorable

so please vote for a coward.

Never before has the USA wanted a change as badly as they do right now. I think having a woman or a black candidate could in fact be a *strength* for the Democrats, especially with this particular black candidate.
