if they get rid of that useless idiot byron leftwich then they have a chance of competing for the wildcard. if not, they go 7-9 and cut him at the end of the season anyway.
his future is to pump my gas. he can't play football.

God, I hope so.
I moved to Jacksonville as the Jags were starting the franchise. Luckily, I stayed long enough to see the city go nuts over the Jags' fabled "Cinderella Season". It was great that in the first two years of play, a new team ALMOST made it to the Super Bowl (ha, I even remember the newscast where they made such a big deal about Brunell's million-dollar-a-year contract).
Well, it's been almost a decade of dissapointment since then, what with some of the founding players leaving for other teams, and even the head coach jumping ship to coach in New York, but I, like most other fans out there, have kept the faith. So to speak.
With the performance they showed in the 2006 season, and the decision to replace Leftwich as 1st string QB, the Jaguars have a fighting chance for something big this fall. I mean, c'mon, the only thing standing in their way of the playoffs this season was Kansas City. If they can stay focused and get the job done this year, the Colts may have a new force to be feared in the AFC in 2007.
