I go out & do things that make me busy to forget about whatever depresses me. Sometimes i go shopping, sometimes i'll buy myself an ice cream sundae or go visit a city that i love. What do you do?

i do the same..i always do something to take my mind off it or i take a nap. i usually dont eat though because when i eat i always have to sit down and stuff and that just makes me think of what im mad at

I change the environment sooner, I go out and find myself in the mall admiring beautiful things on display. I walk, walk and walk fast like a person being chased by a monster. I buy myself a gift, some little cute things to pamper my brain. I pause for a moment, buy me ice cream and other sweet food. My mind then remembers to find some paintings on display, I admire a lot paintings about nature. Hunting some good books is fun. My eyes open wide for interesting stories to feed my ailing psyche. When those couldn't help, I mostly eat, eat , and eat and listening to good music. And I visit the websites to amuse or horrify myself. I like it in here at Yahoo! Answers, it cheers up my day.

well the number one thing i do when i am depressed or feeling sad is i workout out....like a really hard workout. i hate being depressed but to be honest it makes we more motivated because i know i can be so much more then what i am when i am depressed. i feel so good when i use it as motivation. as a leo, if you like astrology, i tend to get depressed but i just use it as fuel..and come out strong. it has worked plenty for me. i actually think being sad is a good thng because you realize you are capable of so much when you ge depressed or sad. thats what i do
